Do you heart these designs? I had a great time taking this series of pictures with my new found friends in Taiwan. I was headed to Qing Jing Farm area and went to catch early sunrise at He Huan Mountain 合欢山. The weather wasn't great and it was freezing at about 8 degrees! Luckily the lady boss of the lodge lent me a big super jacket to keep me warm!
I was unlucky and lucky at the same time. As the sun was rising and I was totally prepared to take pictures of the sunrise. The very last minute the huge amount of mist headed to our directions and... there goes my chance to take pictures of a nice sunrise.
I was chatting with some locals who were taking pictures at the same area. Meet Hojo and Stanley! They are 2 really friendly avid Taiwanese photographers. They asked me if I was keen to head to Song Shou Mountain 松寿山 to take pictures of maple leaves. Being a typical Singaporean who hardly seen any good maple leaves before, I happily agreed. We took about an hour and half to get to the place and headed straight for some hot noodles for breakfast. Glad the sun was up and here's a preview of my shots! Enjoy the pictures! They will be out for sale on my next MAAD event on Dec 9th at Red Dot Museum.
